Historical background

Raising goats has always been an activity complementary to the wine domaines of Mâconnais.

In the sixties, in Herigny, Louis Chevenet developed the agricultural land of his parents concentrating on raising goats. He passed on to his family his love for the trade as well as a respect for tradition and a concern for quality.
